Hi,
Oct 10, 2018 Assassin’s Creed Origins is the new installment in the award-winning series, now taking place in the Ancient Egypt. The game is set during the time of Cleopatra – the furthest back in time the series has ever been. Despite reinventing the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Origins comes with a few errors that are making the game unplayable for some players.
You may try to install the game in compatibility mode and check if it helps.
Follow these steps to install the game in compatibility mode and check if that helps.
a. Right-click on the game setup file and click on ‘properties’.
b. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 7/8/8.1 operating system from the drop down menu.
c. Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help.

Well this is unexpected. I would not have thought that Assassins Creed ( first version) was old enough to
be using SafeDisk copy protection, but it looks like it does.
If you are not already aware of the malware that MS has built into Win10 that prevents disk based games that use
SafeDisk form launching you can read more details in my post a --this thread--
No compatibility setting will help with a game that uses SafeDisc DRM.
- If there is a file on the games disk titled secdrv.sys the game will be blocked by MS's DRM Blocking malware.
- If you have downloaded the game from Ubisoft you would have a different issue.
What graphics processor does your machine use ?.

Lenovo G405 is not a complete description of your machine. There are several different sub-models with
different specifications.
We need details about what is or is not happening.
What version of the game you are using - Disk based, Ubisoft download, or other, and any other specifics you can offer.
- Going on the very limited information you have offered ...
I very much doubt your HD8210 would run this game even if your laptop had Win10 specific drivers from Lenovo,
which is doubtful.
Your cpu @1.4GHz is also too slow to meet the minimum requirements for the game,
'Dual core processor 2.6 GHz Intel Pentium® D or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ '
.
